Commercial vehicles often require special permits to traverse Texas roads. These transportation permits can be tough obtain, especially when you’re juggling dozens of other tasks. That’s why we’re here to help.
EZQ Group will acquire the right Texas permits on your behalf and determine what your transportation goals require.
Overweight and Oversize Permit Service
Overweight and oversized vehicles call for temporary permits in the Lone Star State – and most of the country. You’ll need to schedule a vehicle inspection to ascertain your load size and needs. At EZQ Group, we specialize in understanding and obtaining weight and size-based load permits. We’ll get your commercial vehicles on the road pronto with the right documentation.
You likely need a temporary permit if the vehicle:
- Overall height exceeds 13’6”
- Overall width exceeds 8’6”
- Trailer length exceeds 48 feet
- Overall weight exceeds 80,000 lbs.
Truck Permit Fees and Payments
Obtaining a permit requires a fee. In Texas, this fee will be $60 for each permit. If your vehicle and load weigh more than 200,000 pounds together, you may also need to pay an added fee of $35 for “highway maintenance.” Don’t worry – it’s not up to you to research and understand these details. That’s our job.
